Nominations are being accepted in the following categories:

Everette Lee Citizen of the Year

The Everette Lee Citizen of the Year Award is one of the community’s highest honors. Named in honor of former Chamber and Tourism director and community cheerleader, Everette Lee, this award recognizes individuals who have given substantially of their time, talent and leadership to make Taylor County a better place. The nominating committee is looking for Taylor County citizens who demonstrate a well-rounded and deep-rooted commitment to family and community. Nominees must be community volunteers with records of extensive and diverse participation in community service and civic involvement.

Chamber Business of the Year

The Chamber Business of the Year Award recognizes a Chamber business who has demonstrated an exceptional contribution to their industry or community within the past year. The Chamber member must be involved in many community activities, giving time and financial donations to various organizations, and showing great leadership in the community.

Businesswoman of the Year Award

Women business owners are the fastest growing segment of the Taylor County economy, and the Chamber recognizes the unique challenges in starting, scaling and growing their businesses. Our Chamber Businesswoman of the Year Honoree is selected based on business growth, community involvement and achievements that have set the pace for the overall community. Nominations should spotlight an exemplary woman-owned small business in Taylor County that has made a lasting impact on our community.

Minority Owned Business of the Year

The Campbellsville-Taylor County Chamber of Commerce Minority Business of the Year (MBY) Award in 2024 is in recognition of the achievements of local, minority-owned businesses and the contributions they make to Campbellsville and Taylor County.

Nominees must: Be a Minority Business as defined by the U.S. Department of Commerce: The company must be minority owned with at least 51% owned by one or more minority individuals (Black Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, Asian Americans, or Hasidic Jews), and the daily business operations must be managed by the minority owner; Be member in good standing of the Campbellsville-Taylor County Chamber at the time of nomination; Be a “for-profit” entity; and, be locally-owned and managed within Taylor County. Selection will be made based on the overall success of the business and evidence of contributions made by the business to the community. Self-nominations are accepted.

Judy Cox Servant Leadership Award

The Judy Cox Servant Leader Award was created to recognize those who demonstrate uncommon and steadfast commitment to serving our community. Judy Cox was a warm, funny, caring person who served as our Chamber Director for over 16 years. Judy enjoyed working with people and knew how to motivate and get things done. It was hard to say no to Judy when she made a request. She was dedicated, conscientious, trustworthy and took extra care to make things better. This is the essence of a servant leader and this award strives to recognize those who exhibit these qualities, while also honoring the qualities and contributions of its namesake.
