A Few Words About

About Us

From the president

Ann Dabney

Welcome and thank you for being a valued member of the Campbellsville/Taylor County Chamber of Commerce!  It is an honor to serve as President of the Chamber and serve alongside a Board that is composed of such talented and dynamic individuals who represent our community so well.

Our community of Campbellsville/Taylor County is known throughout the Commonwealth for its warmth and hospitality, and as a place that truly has something for everyone!

If you love the outdoors, our beautiful Green River Lake checks all the boxes with endless options for fishing, camping, hiking, and watersports.  History buffs from across the United States are drawn to the Tebbs Bend Battlefield each year to tour the very spot where Confederate General John Hunt Morgan and his men were defeated in what is regarded as one of the most outstanding small victories in the Civil War.  Make your way downtown and enjoy the beauty of our main street which is home to a variety of shopping and dining options, all of which reflect the local flavor or our community.

Did you know that Campbellsville/Taylor County is also home to the largest Fourth of July celebration in Kentucky?  The celebration spans over a course of 5 days and truly has something for people of all ages.  Parades, pageants, concerts, hot air balloons and fireworks are just a few of the events and activities that draw thousands and thousands to our community each year.

As a Chamber member, I hope that you will take advantage of the numerous networking opportunities that are available throughout the year.  The monthly Chamber luncheons are a tremendous way to meet and connect with other business owners and officials in our community.  The Women in Small Business Luncheon is held annually in the Fall and drew a record crowd in 2023.  Our Coffee and Conversation with Legislators series provides the opportunity for our members to connect directly with state and local officials to discuss matters of importance and learn about legislation aimed at benefitting local businesses and our community as a whole.

As we continue to build committees, refine our events, and broaden our networks to better benefit you as Chamber members, we welcome your continued feedback to guide our efforts and enrich your experience as a Chamber member.

2023 was a year to be proud of as it was a year of unprecedented growth for the Campbellsville/Taylor County Chamber of Commerce.  We look forward to partnering with you and your businesses in the coming year with one common goal, and that is to continue to work hard to ensure that Campbellsville/Taylor County continues to thrive as a community of choice in our great Commonwealth.

From the Executive Director

Greg Gribbins

Our Chamber is comprised of a diverse community, with different backgrounds representing the variety of business categories. The Chamber comprises everything from farms, to a yoga studio, banks, franchises, as well as global corporations. There is a common thread among us all at the Campbellsville/Taylor County Chamber of Commerce: everyone wants to do better – make and foster healthy business connections, grow their businesses, and make the community a better place to live. My role is to facilitate the measures to see our members thrive.

As Executive Director, I’m one of the first people you will meet. My priority is to get to know you and your business, and then pinpoint where the Chamber can be a channel for you to achieve your business goals. I take pride in making sure I’m available to all my members. In addition to bringing in new members and trying to nurture the ones we already have, I spend a fair amount of time working on a calendar of events that will entice members and potential members to attend from training workshops to monthly Chamber luncheons. Our objective is to offer valuable programs and resources that will empower attendees to be more successful.

My duties as ED are numerous and varied, but my favorite part is talking to a prospective member. If you’re not a member and you are looking to grow your connections and business, please give me call! As always, the board of directors and myself are only a phone call away. Give us a call today at (270) 465-8601 or email at greg@campbellsvillekychamber.com.
